     "Yes, It replenishes itself" Wayne explains as he guides us along one of the three naturally-occurring asphalt deposits in the world. The La Brea Pitch Lake spans roughly 100 acres and is estimated to hold 7 million tons of pitch. This awe-inspiring basin is also home to a variety of flora and fauna. Visitors return to bathe in the therapeutic pools that form during the rainy season, which may form as much as 6' deep.

   Easily "the" most popular shoreline destination on the isle of Trinidad(locals and turists alike), this north-coast spot is one of the nation's default melting pots. Apart from the bountiful sea and fair sand, this local is also home to the popular Shark and Bake sandwich, a beloved delicacy on the island. - T(More photos to come!)

   A picturesque gem neatly tucked away in Trinidad's north western coastline, Macqueripe Bay is widely considered one of the island's more serene beach destinations.
